How will the three core tournaments work?
Progression to eliminations in the Longsword, Sword & Buckler, and Sidesword tournaments will be based on your performance across all three weapons.
Each match will be fought as three sub matches, first Longsword, then Sword & Buckler, then Sidesword.

Will the results be submitted to HEMA Ratings?
Yes. Individual matches from all the tournaments will be submitted to HEMA Ratings.

Who can compete in the Restricted Longsword Tournament?
Anyone who wants to. Be aware that the tournament has an expectation of increased control and reduced force compared to regular longsword tournaments.

Will there be swords to borrow?
Yes there will be loaner Longswords, Sideswords, Bucklers, Rapiers, Daggers, and Spears to borrow if needed. There will also be some limited loaner PPE – with priority going to newer fencers. If you need to borrow something we encourage you to organise it with your home club in advance.

What are the gear requirements?
