Join us over 6 weeks as we explore the art of Rapier and Dagger – the weapon combination used for deadly duels in 17th century Italy.
The style emphasizes versatile defense with both the sword and dagger and athletic footwork using the lunge and the pass.
The course runs for 6 consecutive Wednesday evening classes, starting on the 9th of January 2019 and concluding on the 13ht of February. Classes will be held at the Melbourne Salle (12/62-64 Oakover Rd, Preston) and will start at 6:30 pm and finish at 7:30 pm. Wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle.
As always, the first class is free. Bookings are required – we need to ensure there’s equipment for everyone. If you’re already a monthly all-classes-included member, this course is included too!
Otherwise it’s $80 for students of the SHF and affiliated schools, or $155 for new students (this covers the cost of the class, as well as school membership and attendance at all SHF classes for the duration of the course).
Payment can be made via cash, bank transfer, paypal or credit card. If you would like to pay via cash or bank transfer please contact us to arrange payment. If you would like to try the free class before you commit to paying – register using the same form and then skip the paypal payment window.
